Elliot Overmeer is a visual artist from Rohnert Park, CA. He explores themes such as isolation, domesticity and the mundane in his work, and often strips away color, context or clarity in order to present a fragmented piece of the world. His practice mainly revolves around painting and drawing, and they incorporate photography, found photos and miniature models into their work as references. Literature and language are also important influences to their work, and they utilize bookmaking in their practice as well.

Elliot received his BA in Fine Arts from Marist College, where they were the recipient of the 2023 Baccalaureate Award in Fine Arts. He lives and works in Boston, MA.
